THE MUM'S VILLAGE
It takes a Village - come and join ours

Community for mums at all stages
Motherhood can feel a bit full-on sometimes, can’t it? The constant juggle, the exhaustion, the never-ending to-do lists, the questions (so many questions!) - and not much space to just be you.
That’s exactly why I started The Mum’s Village - a space where mums like you can come together, chat openly and honestly, laugh about the chaos, and feel genuinely supported by others who just get it.

The Mum's Village is all about connection, a reminder that you’re not the only one figuring things out as you go (we're all winging it at different stages of parenthood!)

There’s no cost or commitment, just a lovely bunch of mums and a space where you can feel a bit more like you again. You don’t have to do it all on your own. This is your village, and we’d love to have you in it.
Monthly Meet-ups
Once a month, we get together for a relaxed, no-pressure catch-up. There’s no agenda, timings or expectation, just a friendly, welcoming space to connect with other local mums over a cuppa and yummy food (don't stress if you turn in leggings, baby sick in your hair and haven’t brushed your hair in days - we’ve all been there!)

It’s really laid-back, so don't worry if you're running late (babies don't really work to a schedule do they?!) or can't make the whole session, just come as you are. Bring your baby, toddler, bump or come solo if you fancy a bit of time to yourself! You’ll be met with friendly faces and zero judgement.

I guarantee you'll leave feeling a little lighter, calmer and like you're in the right place.

See below for further details on upcoming meet-ups!

My Village Disappeared Overnight
Why Did I Start 'The Mum's Village'?
My first baby, Henry, was born right at the start of the first COVID-19 lockdown and so I desperately felt like that my Village was taken away from me.
Yes, I had friends and an antenatal group I could chat to online, but we couldn't meet up regularly and I found that so isolating. Nowhere to go, no-one to talk to in real life, no baby classes to give us some structure.

I just wanted to get out the house, have a coffee, and chat to others about how BLOODY HARD this was (why did no-one prepare us?!) This is why I feel so passionately about creating this community, this Village, that is so needed when you're raising tiny little humans - the most exhausting, draining, all-consuming job you'll ever have (but also pretty incredible too!)

The WhatsApp Community
If you can’t make the meet-ups or just fancy staying in touch between them, there’s also our WhatsApp community.
It’s a really friendly, down-to-earth space full of lovely mums who just get it! A perfect place to share recommendations, ask questions, have a little rant and support each other through the everyday ups and downs.
There is no expectation or pressure to reply all the time, just dip in and out as much or as little as you like. Even just seeing the messages can give you that bit of reassurance you need that you are in fact absolutely smashing it (even if it doesn't feel like it a lot of the time!)

It’s a real community where mums lift each other up, no judgment, just kindness and understanding. If you're wanting to meet some other mums and have a space where you can just be yourself, this is the perfect place for you.
